Keynote and Q&A: Creating Inclusive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Roundtable: 𝙴𝚍𝚞𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕 𝙾𝚙𝚙𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚞𝚗𝚒𝚝𝚒𝚎𝚜 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝙳𝙴𝙸 𝙿𝚛𝚘𝚏𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕 𝙳𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚕𝚘𝚙𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝

Ceyda Berk-Söderblom will host sociology professor Gary David, one of the architects of the Bentley University (Massachusetts, US)’s 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗘𝗜) 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲, at the #StopHatredNow2022.

Enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is critical for many arts and culture organisations. However, offering a bachelor’s degree takes the knowledge to the next level. They will talk about how they designed a curriculum for the 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗔 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 and what subjects and courses are included.

"Creating Inclusive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" is a keynote and Q&A with Gary David, moderated by Ceyda Berk-Söderblom. The sessions focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and the ways in which it can be beneficial, innovative, and a key part of a strategy.
